Camera Exposure ISO Curve
Each camera has an exposure curve that determines its sensors light sensative capabilities and gain levels, each camera sensor and chio is different and behaves differently to different gain “ISO” settings. So leanting your cameras curve could allow you to push your exposure ISO without changing its gain distortion “film grain”.
The link below provides a resource to a website where you can sleect your camera and see its ISO gain Curve and how intense the gain levels are at particular ISO levels
How to read the graph.
As you look at the graph you want a noise generally between 0-2, 1 is low noise, 2 low-medium, 3 is medium and anything above 3 your getting into increased noise. However I suggest playing around with your camera to see the effect for yourself, high grain for one camera is not the same as high grain for another.
Here you can see the graph for my camera, Nikon z6 ii, you can see that my ISO 800 is the same as shooting at IOS 250.

This is a helpful page when trying to understand your camera’s ISO to grain level values.
Color Wheel
I use this color wheel from “real color wheel” you can download it for free and print it out then use it while you are painting to create your color schemes. I find it really helps when i’m stumped on color combinations. I personally use the CMYK version.
